First person games are best played in Full VR Mode. For the best possible immersion. With full head tracking for most games and stereoscopic 3D for supported titles.
Optionally you now can play third person games, strategy games, sports games etc. on a huge virtual cinema screen. In Stereo 3D for supported titles – almost as immersive as in full VR.
vorpX supports more than 250 DirectX 9, 10 and 11 games (and some OpenGL titles) in stereoscopic 3D, many more work without S3D.
DirectVR is a collection of several techniques that provide VR compatibility for ‘normal’ games with as little need for user interaction as possible.
